Short version: no cookies and no tracking unless you say OK, and even then only one cookie for anonymous visit counts.

What's collected, only if you click OK

• Which pages you open, where you came from (the referring site), your browser, device type and approximate country.
• A random ID in a cookie, so a return visit isn't counted as a new visitor (see Cookies below).
• How you move through the page: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, which we can replay as an anonymous recording and see as heatmaps. Anything you type is masked and never recorded.
• Your IP address is discarded and not stored.

If you click No, the only thing recorded is that a “No” happened on this site, and when. No cookie, no ID, nothing stored in your browser. It tells us what share of visitors we're not counting.

This is done with PostHog, on its EU cloud. No ads, no selling, no tracking you across other sites.

Cookies

• Before you choose: none.
• If you click OK: one first-party cookie from PostHog, named ph_…_posthog, holding a random visitor ID and the current session. It lasts up to a year, or until you click No in Cookie settings, which removes it.
• Your choice itself (OK or No) is saved in your browser's local storage as consent-analytics, so you aren't asked on every page. It isn't sent anywhere.
• No advertising cookies, and no third-party cookies.

Why, and on what basis

To see which pages people use and where they get stuck, so the site can get better. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Click No, or change your mind any time: Cookie settings

Server logs

Like any website, the server that sends you these pages keeps short-lived technical logs (time, page, IP address) for security and troubleshooting. They aren't used for analytics.

Your rights

You can ask what's held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing the address above. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP.
